Besides reading, I like to travel and have fun adventures with my family. I’m addicted to all of Bravo’s Housewives reality shows because certain traits of those women make for great characters in my books. It’s just an added bonus to live vicariously in their closets. And I love to see the singers on The Voice living their dreams. I’ve always been tempted to apply to be a contestant on Survivor, but I chicken out every time I get to the application part. I really like to be clean, sleep on something soft at night, hate bugs and I enjoy having at least two meals a day. I wouldn’t last a week on that show.

Net Galley Review :
A new cozy mystery series that has  great flow and pacing, interesting story-line and likable characters . Kept me in the story. I also, enjoyed the “will they/won’t they” with the ex. I never found myself getting bored or skimming ahead. I’d recommend this book if you’re looking for a quick easy whodunit. Lisa

Champion ice-skater Karina Carter needs a fresh start while her body heals. Caring for little Janey is just temporary until she can get back on the ice—or so she keeps telling herself. But the longer she spends with this gorgeous single dad, the more drawn she is to him and the family they could share. Net Galley  Book Review :  I have been a long time fan of this author book and this newest one was an enjoyable read. Karina is an injured champion ice skater who goes home and gets a job babysitting for a wealthy rancher and his daughter. Karina has been told she can no longer skate pairs but help with some friends and Janey makes a comeback to the Olympics . But we also have a romance between the wealthy rancher and Karina. It’s kind of in the background since both are involved with other things but it comes together in the end to a loving story. Thanks for another great read in this series.  Lisa

My Review :

As a long time fan of this author I grab this book when I saw it was out. This is Book #12 of the great series The White Wolves Series : if you haven’t read it yet start with book #1 that is free at this time at Amazon. Book #1 Series.

So book #12 is Chandra book :   a human archaeologist hunted bye Vampires. She knows she needs help so she runs to family ( Aunt Ariel ) for help. Ariel knows she coming and that shes in danger and will need the help of a mate. Harley is an alpha wolf who has his own problem but when Ariel calls he comes to help. Like all the other books wooing a White wolf is not easy and Chandra has lots to learn about being a wolf and why the vampires are chasing her. You will see lots of the characters from the other books and thats why I suggested to start at the beginning. These book are fun,hot and exciting as we explore the Forgotten One : The White Wolves.   Lisa
