Lee St. is a rogue Southern Belle, a high-jinx expert, and mayhem confessor. You’ll see. Twisted, uproarious, revealing, delicious, quirky, surprising, warm, humorous, heartfelt, or scandalous. Take your pick. You’ll find them all in these true stories about family, friends, co-workers, and others whose names she cloaks when telling her tales. Well, she had to. In her latest published book, SHE’S A KEEPER! Compositions from a Southern Girl’s Classroom, she is spilling the beans about all the funnies that either happened to her or to teacher friends in elementary through college classrooms. Even if you are not an educator, you will be able to relate as a former student. She shares how her high school students placed matches in her felt erasers, which she swiped across a slate blackboard and started a fire. Then another time her own kindergarten son was reprimanded for placing CORN DOG STICKS up his nose at lunch. After a middle school aptitude test, her son’s friend future occupation was determined she should be a clown…or (you’ll have to read it!) And her college stories are more mortifying. Buckle up for a unpredictable ride.
